Working with Jordan Schlau was the best decision my husband Armando & I could have made. After being pre approved for a mortgage, we were thrilled to start looking for a home. When Armando mentioned his longtime friend Jordan was a realtor, I must confess I was a little hesitant at first. I had never met Jordan & purchasing a home was a priority for us but we weren’t very sure what we needed in a realtor. Armando sent Jordan a message one evening to which Jordan responded to the morning after. We set up a time to talk on the phone to discuss our needs and wants in a home. Jordan made sure we were both on the call asking all the questions we had & gave us an overview of what to expect during the home buying process. We saw a few houses we liked & placed an offer on 2 of them. With the competitive market & our budget, we weren’t having any luck finding what we wanted. There was 1 house Jordan brought up a few times but was occupied & did not have any showings scheduled. Shortly after, the house was open for 2 hours for viewing. Jordan called us right away. We met at the house & fell in love with it! We placed an offer the day after & it was accepted. After some back & forth, during escrow, we were informed by our lender that we did not meet the conditions for our loan. We were so upset & ready to throw in the towel. However, Jordan offered to get us in contact with a different lender. We thought it was too late & the house wasn’t going to be ours but Jordan did all he could to keep us in contract. Luckily the new lender was able to work with us! That’s when we knew we had placed our trust in the right person, Jordan knew this house was perfect for us before we did!
